We Hakata-ori textile craftworkers are participating in the “KIMONO PROJECT” under the slogan of, “The world can surely become one.” Through this project, we have created a range of obi sashes inspired by countries around the world. Our hope is to give people overseas a sense of the Japanese spirit through Hakata-ori. Please stop by and experience designs incorporating traditional techniques with new sensibilities.
