Wooden crafts from the Kiri-Koubou workshop, established in April, 1912 and now helmed by 3rd generation renowned craftsman Masahiro Hieda from Okawa, who has also been nominated a modern artisan representative of Fukuoka Prefecture. This exquisite and diverse range of furniture, from tables, chairs, beds and sideboards for modern life, as well as dressers made entirely of paulownia wood that draw fully on traditional techniques, are all rarities that inspire "love at first sight."
