Hakata's Yuubi - Hakata Mizuhiki and Hakata-ori -

Hakata mizuhiki (decorative Japanese cord made from twisted paper) has long tied together Japan's distinct gift-giving culture. And Hakata-ori fabric is well-known for its role as a gift presented to the Edo Shogunate. The beauty of tradition and form imbued by these arts is now reborn as interior items and fashion for use in modern life. Accessories like bottle ribbons will also be on display and available for purchase alongside Mizuhiki decorations and Hakata-ori magnet boards.
