Maker's Circle - A gathering of weavers and dyers -

The next generation of makers from various dyeing and weaving districts is set to assemble in Hakata. Hakata Textile manufacturer Kuroki Orimono, and their associates in the world of crafts, cross the boundaries between districts to take on an unprecedented challenge.
This time, the OLN brand from Inokiyo Orimono in Kiryu (one of the "big three obi sash areas" alongside Hakata), and Sankatsu Co., Ltd. (established in 1894 and known for importing Edo-period style into the modern day) introduce their products to the people of Hakata.
During the event there will be various sundries on display and available for purchase alongside Japanese clothing items like yukata and obi. They will also be introducing new items for modern times.
Enjoy delving into the traditional world of dyeing and appreciating the different expressions produced from the same fabric.
* Inokiyo Orimono and Sankatsu Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting from the 25 through 27.
