This exhibition showcases traditional Japanese Hina dolls made to pray for the healthy growth and happiness of young girls celebrating their first annual festival. To fit better with modern lifestyles, famous Hakata doll artisans have crated smaller dolls that are easier to display. These artisans incorporate a wealth of ideas and sensibilities into each and every doll, ensuring they steal the hearts of all who lay eyes on them. The dolls are not just great gifts for a child’s first festival, but make the perfect seasonal decorations.
